Outage Due to Maintenance by PLN

Ever experienced a power outage at home?

Of course, but have you ever thought about the cause of a power outage?

Turns out there are several things that make PLN have to cut off electricity temporarily to customers, both due to interference and maintenance. Both are interconnected, because every time there is a disturbance there will definitely be maintenance afterwards to avoid repeated disturbances.

This maintenance aims to increase the durability, availability and efficiency of equipment, to extend the life of the equipment, reduce the risk of equipment failure or damage, improve equipment safety, reduce the length of time out due to frequent interruptions.

The most commonly performed maintenance includes:

1. cable replacement
2. increasing the capacity of transformers
3. cleaning the environment around substations or electric poles.

During this maintenance, PLN will turn off the electricity temporarily until the maintenance work is completed, including the electricity flowing to  #SobatWilson's house, this is being implemented to provide worker safety during maintenance.
